Ginger

Ginger is used as a well rooted tradition to cure indigestion. Ginger is used to settle stomach problems, gas and stomach cramps. It has an ability to stimulate bile production which is a significant cure to many stomach ailments.

Anise Seeds

There are numerous factors causing a hindrance to digestive enzymes that cause gas, nausea and bloating etc. Its anti-spasmodic properties help subside stomach aches due to indigestion and wind. Prepare a brew by adding some 3 gms of anise seeds to a glass of water and consume it 2-3 times in a day.

Peppermint

Peppermint is also justifiably famous for soothing stomach ailments. Its anti-inflammatory and carminativeproperties help to control infections and eases spasms.

Chamomile

Chamomile helps to eliminate gas. It has strong anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects to fight off stomach cramps, stomach flu, acidity and all types of stomach illness. Chamomile tea is used commonly all across the world to relax stomach problems. This tea is prepared from chamomile flowers. You can also take half teaspoon of chamomile tincture three times a day.

Lemon

Lemon is a very old remedy for indigestion problems. It is a very good carminative and an anti-inflammatory that can easily cure stomach spasms bloating, gas, acid reflux or constipation.

Take a glass of honey and lemon juice to subside indigestion. If lemon juice is taken in lukewarm water before meals, it helps prevent acid reflux.

Caraway Seeds

Caraway seeds can control gut spasms and flatulence, hence it is very helpful in treating indigestion. It strengthens the functions of stomach. Its carminative compounds treats stomach colic and other digestive problems. Chew or swallow 1 teaspoon of caraway seeds along with water for immediate relief.

Dandelion

Both Dandelion leaves and roots are used to treat stomach problems. It is an excellent reliever for bloating, heartburn and acid indigestion.
